Diagnostic and Laboratory service

At Stansbury Animal Hospital, we are able to provide a variety of diagnostic options to speed proper diagnosis and treatment of your pet’s illness. We have a full in-house laboratory capable of performing CBCs, blood chemistries, urinalyses, heartworm  tests, parvo tests, FeLV/FIV tests, thyroid tests, and fecal tests within 30 minutes time. We are equipped with a radiograph machine for full digital X-ray services. We also use a national outside laboratory for more extensive blood and diagnostic testing.

Our diagnostic equipment helps our veterinarians diagnose and monitor the most difficult health problems including liver, kidney, pancreatic disease, diabetic problems, thyroid problems, and many others.

To compliment our in-house laboratory facility, we have available ultrasound capability through a mobile service. This allows all of the ultrasounds done in our hospital to be read by boarded internists and cardiologists who are then able to consult with us on your pets’ continuing care.

The combination of all these modalities allows us to provide you with the most complete care available for your pet.
