Puppy and Kitten Exams / Parasite Prevention and Control

Vaccinations and parasite control

To help keep your canine and feline family members healthy and happy, we recommend vaccinations or vaccine titers, fecal and heartworm laboratory tests, and a thorough physical examination at least once annually. For dogs, we also recommend an annual Bordetella vaccination to minimize the spread of upper respiratory infection. Since all our pets are individuals and experience a variety of lifestyles, we tailor vaccinations to your pet based on their age and living conditions. As your pet ages, additional procedures are recommended as outlined in our geriatric / senior healthcare section.

Of course, puppies and kittens initially require much more frequent visits than our adult patients. You can see our puppy and kitten vaccination protocols below.
